Brendyn & Jessica wedding from dp studio Ting Yi photo & cinema on Vimeo.
It was unlikely that they would ever cross paths. Jessica is from New Jersey and Brendyn is from Seattle. But where they met is even more surprising. They have both been figure skating since they were children and became professional around the same time. They were cast for the same European ice show in 2010 and met for the first time in Holland. The rehearsals were long and tedious and they found comfort in making each other laugh during that time. The happiness they share on and off the ice is obvious when you are around them. After just a short time together, they knew that there would never be anyone else but each other.
If you were to look up the meaning of Fairytale Romance, you would be sure to find a picture of Ivan and Lara next to the definition. For Ivan, after living the life of a bachelor for many years, and for Lara, who searched for love all over the world, their destinies collided at a New York Yankees baseball game and the rest is history. On a gorgeous November day, Lara and Ivan exchanged vows at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Hoboken. Beneath the breathtaking arched ceilings, high stained glass windows, and surrounded by their closest friends and family, they became husband and wife. Despite the overwhelmingly beautiful church holding their ceremony, Ivan could look at nothing else but his enchanting bride as she came down the aisle, glowing from head to toe in her stunning fitted gown.

On top of a hill, overlooking a landscape worth falling in love with, Chateau Hathorn in Warwick, NY set the scene for Tricia and Dean’s wedding on a beautiful September day. The 225 acres of sweeping, manicured grounds surrounded them as they exchanged vows in front of their friends and family. It was an intimate, romatic affair that included their adorable twin boys dashingly dressed in tiny bow ties, hats, and dress shoes. The ceremony was conducted in front of a gorgeous gazebo draped with sunflowers and hydrangea. The atmosphere was laden with love and the sweet fragrance of flowers as guests were escorted over an old wooden bridge to their seats, transporting them to the 18th century when the mansion was established. Steeped in romantic history, this was the perfect setting for the couple to commit themselves to one another.
It started over coffee.
They started off as friends.
Its funny how from simple things.
The best things begin.
We absolutely LOVE the video!!! Thank you to everyone that was a part of it:) We couldn’t ask for more and are so excited to work with everyone on our wedding day!!
Great photos, what a fantastic backdrop!
Chris and Heather have been together since there senior year in High school, although they went to different High schools they met at the local supermarket A&P where they worked. The couple share a passion for design, he is an architect she is a kitchen designer, so the ideas they had for this photo shoot were particularly fun. Starting out at the A&P, we captured how they met, as well as there day to day lives now. At Cava Winery in Hamburg, the lighting was incredible as they explored the grounds and the wine. Finally, we went back to there house, which is their first house, and the start of their life together. The best part of the day was when they jumped into their community’s lake together. A exciting way to end a great day!
Ting Yi left my wife and I absolutely speechless with your undying energy, creative and artistic approach to her craft, and overall personable and professional character. With more than a few memories of our special day, our challenge was instead what pictures not to use in a portfolio of exceptional photographs that exceeded our expectations. Best described as a “firecracker”, Ting Yi goes to great lengths to ensure satisfaction by all, and leaves a lasting impression that is certain to inspire repeat business and even friendship.
